- Run ABE, NLG, DM, Gentner, SPHINX and TTS in this folder
Each one will produce varying amounts of initial text that ends
in a message about listening to or accepting connections
on some port.

- From the NT start menu, find and run X-Win32

- Run putty.exe (on the desktop) and use SSH (see radio button on popup panel) to connect to hop.

o Log in as 'comm'

o You will be prompted to authenticate to Kerberos as 'comm'

o Type the following command:

./demo.csh hip

o You will be prompted for the NT SCS domain password for 'comm'

After typing in the comm password to the demo.csh script, you should see a raft of X windows
pop up on your screen. The topmost one should be the window for
the Hub (it should have yellow text on a black background). Everything
is ok if the hub is slowly printing dots at the bottom of its window.
