The OpenVXI plays prompts through the VXIprompt interface. This interface provides methods for queueing and playing audio and TTS prompts. Prompt engine and platform specific properties can be passed for enhanced prompt control.

The OpenVXI implements a VXIrec interface simulator, where the implementation acts as if there is a real caller but really simply logs the prompts queued and played.
